Nutrition and Migration (Geneva)

How do we eat a healthy diet? What easy steps can help us to be and stay in good health? The Nutrition and Migration project promotes exercise and a healthy diet among migrants.

Educational workshops held in partnership with community health workers and healthcare professionals are offered free of charge and in a range of languages to people with a migration background, those at risk of chronic illness and their family members.
The programme covers:

  • nutrition and a balanced diet
  • exercise adapted to the individual
  • the impact of stress on mental and physical health
  • sport
  • cooking classes, etc.
